Create Foundation Friday 24 May, in the enclosed courtyard of City Hall Post Office building in Madrid, has launched the second consecutive year EXPOKIDS 2013 but where 70 proyectos han sido presentados por los niños llenos de ilusión y entusiasmo. UNICEF Spain delivers its Awards 2013 a Malala Yousafzai, Nacho de la Mata, Protégeles and the Association of Visual Learners

On 22 May, UNICEF handed out its annual awards in the auditorium of the Reina Sofia Museum , in a ceremony presided by S. M. Queen Dona Sofia and also attended by the Minister of Health Doña Ana Mato and the President of UNICEF Spain Doña Consuelo Crespo and all members of the Jury. Belpart want to praise the work of the jury to reward organizations that work with a quiet and often with little impact in the media performed admirably and allow aid to people , in humans. IN the Reina Sofia Museum: Metonymy and the collection of Patricia Phelps de Cisneros

BELPART recommended two wonderful exhibitions organized by the Museo Reina Sofia in Madrid:

Exposure Metonymy by artist Cristina Iglesias donostiarra (1956) which will be open to the 13 de Mayo del 2013.

The exhibition curated by Coke Lynee exposed through a 50 plays a major retrospective of Cristina Iglesias. His sculptures are intermingled with architecture even suggesting dreamlike spaces converted into pure scenery full of subtleties. La diversidad de materiales y el elemento vivo del agua son esenciales en la muestra.

The particular invention is the exhibition organized by the Reina Sofia Museum and the Cisneros / Patricia Phelps Cisneros Foundation which will remain on display until 16 de septiembre del 2013.

The commissioners the Director of the Colección Patricia Phelps and chefs Gabriel Perez- Barreiro and Reina Sofia Museum Director Manuel Borja- Villel get focus on the development of geometric abstraction in Latin America traveling a chronological period spanning the years 30 until the 70 the twentieth century. The geometric abstraction began in Europe but was quickly taken over by artists from some South American cities like Caracas, Sao Paulo, or Buenos Aires. Some artists are exposed: Joaquín Torres-García, Gego, Mira Schendel, Alejandro Otero, Jesus Soto, Carlos Cruz-Diez, Lygia Clark, Hélio Oiticica, Lygia Pape, Cildo Meireles, Alfredo Hlito, Milton Dacosta, Aluísio carvão, Alfredo Volpi, Tomás Maldonado, Willys de Castro, Judith Lauand, Jack Leirner, Antoinette Soto, César Paternosto, Rhod Rothfuss y Waltercio Caldas.

Of 7 February 28 April podemos visitar esta magnífica exposición comisariada por María de Corral y Lorena Martínez de Corral.

El espacio de la antigua fábrica de tabaco en Madrid es en el que las comisarias Maria y Lorena hacen un genial trabajo no solo por la selección y el juego de la confrontación de las imágenes sino porque es la puesta en escena de un espacio vacío y casi abandonado en el tiempo convirtiéndolo en lugar intimo y mágico.

Through some 50 fotografías asistimos a la evolución producida en estos años de trabajo de Jose Manuel Ballester.

Architecture & nature with the series "Hidden Spaces,"In which the artist about extolling photography and painting his characters without spaces, overwhelm us and intimidate us. Total Beauty is. Nos emociona.

WALL JUMPING IS PRESENTED IN MADRID

SALTANDO MUROS es un concurso de fotografía para artistas hispanoamericanos que lidera La Fundación Fondo Internacional de las Artes con el apoyo de la Secretaria General Iberoamericana y la participación de Museos e Instituciones Iberoamericanas y españolas.
Photography is a tool that can help change the social reality. The Jury is composed Spanish:Branches Alma Lopez, Leticia Espinosa de los Monteros Rosillo, Carlos Delgado Butler,

Fosi Vegue and Leonor has Esquerra and Museums: National Museum of Fine Arts Argentina, Museum of Contemporary Art, University of Chile, Museum of Modern Art in the Dominican Republic, Centro Cultural Kavlin (Punta del Este) Municipality of Lima, America House in Spain, Memorial of Latin America in Sao Paulo, Art Museum of Ponce in Puerto Rico, INBA of Mexico, Museo arqueológico y contemporáneo de Ecuador y El Centro Cultural Libertador Simón Bolivar.

Jumping Walls is based on 4 ideas:

”I.

Jumping Walls points to the possibility of rescuing their role for art as a tool of social transformation and, on the other hand, to a study of the potential impact of the photographic image at the time not only to denounce, but a critical analysis, serio y profundo de una realidad social concreta.

Since the early twentieth century there have been cyclical reviews about the primary functions of the museum, ultimately, have expanded and revised the traditional collection, presentation and increased funding. Anyway, the truth is that museums have become in recent decades a place of meetings and multiple interests, struggling to find a new typology for living participatory community. What new strategies can successfully challenge the gap that still exists between social communities and museums? Jumping Walls seeks to establish an effective relationship between a museum project and the community to which it is addressed through an open and inclusive project, en el que el espectador se concibe como una parte fundamental y sea convocado a comprender parte de su presente a través de las obras expuestas.

Francisco Umbral PRIZE II Book of the Year 2012

Francisco Umbral Foundation , has awarded the threshold Francisco II Book of the Year Award to “Head on fire” (Galaxia Gutemberg) del escritor y académico Luis Mateo Díez.

On 23 de enero el Jurado del Premio se reunión para fallar el premio de la II edición en la Casa del Lector de la Fundación Sánchez Ruiperez.

The winner will receive 12.000€ and a sculpture by Alberto Heart que serán entregados en un acto organizado por la Comunidad de Madrid en colaboración con la Fundación en el mes de Febrero.

The event was attended by members of the Jury: former Minister Cesar Antonio Molina, critic Santos Sanz Villanueva, the poet Carlos Fernandez Aganzo, Cultural ABC director Fernando Rodriguez Lafuente, writer and lecturer Fanny Rubio, writer and journalist Juan Cruz and academic Jury President Carmen Iglesias; They also asitieron The Deputy Minister of Culture Carmen Gonzalez Madrid, General Director Isabel Rosell, el Alcalde de Majadahonda Narciso de Foxa y la Presidenta y viuda del escritor España Suarez.

Santos Sanz Villanueva stressed excellence and obviousness of this ruling because "quality awards and honors, may like or not the reader, but it is questionable whether Luis Mateo is in the top level of literary quality. SKIN EXPOSURE IN VALENCIA Botanic Garden

Belpart llevo la SKINS exposure, del fotógrafo vasco Juan Muguruza al Jardin Botánico de la Universidad de Valencia.

The exhibition was opened last 28 de Junio y contó con la presencia del Vicerrector de Actividades Culturales de la Universidad de Valencia D.Antonio Ariño.

The exhibition consists of 44 large format digital photographs taken between 2010 and 2011, barks showing various tree species, en la que el artista nos hace descubrir una belleza que el ojo humano apenas repara en ella.

As the sculptor Rafael Trénor, "The presence of these photographs in the middle of the trees and the expanded vision of their bark, enriquecerá por unos días la panorámica de sus visitantes sin alterar la natural belleza del Jardín Botánico”.

The exhibition can be visited from 28 June to 16 September in time 10 a 21h de lunes a domingo.

Belpart organize PIELES, primera exposición artística del fotógrafo vasco Juan Muguruza en El Real Jardín Botánico de Madrid.

The exhibition remained in Madrid 28 March to 20 May then continue its tour to Valencia in the Botanical Garden of the University of Valencia 28 June to 16 de Septiembre y a Barcelona en el 2013.

Belpart gestiona la obra del artista Juan Muguruza.
