DESDE EL COMITE DE UNICEF MADRID PONEMOS EN MARCHA “MUSICOS CON LA INFANCIA POR UNICEF”

El pasado sábado 12 noviembre se presentó en el Espacio de la Fundación Telefónica” Músicos con la Infancia por UNICEF,” initiative of the great violinist and UNICEF Committee Amiga Madrid Leticia Moreno.

Donar música es nuestro objetivo con el fín de que los músicos puedan contribuir a ayudar a la infancia mas vulnerable con lo mejor que saben hacer interpretar música. La recaudación de los conciertos, que tengan lugar en ésta iniciativa, irá destina íntegramente a UNICEF.

The initiative was presented by Leticia Moreno with UNICEF Committee Chairman Manuel López Miguel MADRID, La Directora de la Fundación Telefónica Almudena Bermejo y Leticia Espinosa de los Monteros , vocal de la Junta directiva de UNICEF MADRID . Tras la presentación tuvo lugar un concierto gracias a la participación de músicos venidos de diversos lugares nacionales e internacionales que queriéndose unir a esta iniciativa con Leticia Moreno formaron una orquesta de cuerda para este momento. Interpretaron bellísimamente las Estaciones de Piazzolla.

Esta iniciativa servirá para que UNICEF pueda seguir desarrollando su labor de acuerdo con la Convención de los derechos del niño: so that all children wherever they are and despite the terrible conditions in which they live to fulfill their rights in education, protección y sanidad consiguiendo así cambios reales en las vidas de miles de niños y contribuyendo a que los niños puedan seguir siendo niños sin preocuparse por nada mas.

La Fundación Create organiza the 22 May, at Alley Serano (C/ Serrano 63) Madrid , una gran fiesta con motivo de recaudar dinero para continuar ampliando su red de colegios que favorezcan el emprendimiento en niños de 10 a 16 años. The organization offers the option to make a donation of 30 € for this purpose. This year they are 22 colegios los participantes en EXPOKIDS 2014 donde se expondrán los 200 proyectos que podrán ser visualizados el 11 de Junio en la Caja Mágica.

WALL JUMPING BEGINS ITS ROAMING

International Fund Foundation of Arts and The Ibero-American General Secretariat (SEGIB) initiate Travelling Exhibition Muros Jumping Iberoamericana 2013-2015 in October 2013 in Mexico and will be hosted by the following institutions:The Vasconcelos Library (Mexico City, Mexico) , The Metropolitan Museum of Lima - Management of Culture of the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima (Lime, Peru) , The Archaeological Museum of Contemporary Art (MAAC) - Ministry of Culture (Guayaquil, Ecuador) , The National Museum of Fine Arts - See Neuquén (Neuquén, Argentina), The Museum of Modern Art in the Dominican Republic (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) , The Ponce Art Museum (Ponce, Puerto Rico), The Contemporary Art Museum of the University of Chile (Santiago de Chile, Chile) , From Center Cultural Kavlin (Punta del Este, Uruguay) , The Memorial of Latin America (Sao Paul, Brazil) – The American House (Madrid, Spain) Latin America and The House of Cádiz (Cadiz, Spain).

Nineteen young photographers ten different nationalities participated in the sample. Those selected have been Evelyn Merino Reyna (Peru), Miguel Francisco Rueda (Peru), Julio Lugo Rivas (Puerto Rico), Norma Vila Rivero (Puerto Rico), Francisco (Pancho) Rodriguez (Dominican Republic), Yael Duval Liriano (Dominican Republic),Chi-Hua Salinas (Chile), Victor Ortiz Anaconas (Chile), Gabriela Portaluppi (Ecuador), Morejon Cesar Castillo (Ecuador), Sebastian Arce Manrique (Mexico), Fernando Manuel Pérez Escarcega (Mexico), Paula Jiménez (Argentina), Lola García Garrido (Argentina), Santiago Sebastian Salles (Uruguay), Vítor Pontes de Souza (Brazil), Raphael Alves (Brazil), Nicolás García Combarro (Spain) and Alberto Herrero Barceló (Spain).

But the project Jumping Walls does not end with the last of the sample itinerancies. In early May this year he won second prize in the category 2 (Incubator projects) of III American Award for Education and Museums, organized by Ibermuseos-Ibermuseus Program and provided with 10.000 dólares.

UNICEF Spain delivers its Awards 2013 a Malala Yousafzai, Nacho de la Mata, Protégeles and the Association of Visual Learners

WALL JUMPING IS PRESENTED IN MADRID

SALTANDO MUROS es un concurso de fotografía para artistas hispanoamericanos que lidera La Fundación Fondo Internacional de las Artes con el apoyo de la Secretaria General Iberoamericana y la participación de Museos e Instituciones Iberoamericanas y españolas.

Jumping Walls is based on 4 ideas:

”I.

Jumping Walls points to the possibility of rescuing their role for art as a tool of social transformation and, on the other hand, to a study of the potential impact of the photographic image at the time not only to denounce, but a critical analysis, serio y profundo de una realidad social concreta.

Since the early twentieth century there have been cyclical reviews about the primary functions of the museum, ultimately, have expanded and revised the traditional collection, presentation and increased funding. Anyway, the truth is that museums have become in recent decades a place of meetings and multiple interests, struggling to find a new typology for living participatory community. What new strategies can successfully challenge the gap that still exists between social communities and museums? Jumping Walls seeks to establish an effective relationship between a museum project and the community to which it is addressed through an open and inclusive project, en el que el espectador se concibe como una parte fundamental y sea convocado a comprender parte de su presente a través de las obras expuestas.

Francisco Umbral PRIZE II Book of the Year 2012

Francisco Umbral Foundation , has awarded the threshold Francisco II Book of the Year Award to “Head on fire” (Galaxia Gutemberg) del escritor y académico Luis Mateo Díez.

On 23 de enero el Jurado del Premio se reunión para fallar el premio de la II edición en la Casa del Lector de la Fundación Sánchez Ruiperez.

The winner will receive 12.000€ and a sculpture by Alberto Heart que serán entregados en un acto organizado por la Comunidad de Madrid en colaboración con la Fundación en el mes de Febrero.

The event was attended by members of the Jury: former Minister Cesar Antonio Molina, critic Santos Sanz Villanueva, the poet Carlos Fernandez Aganzo, Cultural ABC director Fernando Rodriguez Lafuente, writer and lecturer Fanny Rubio, writer and journalist Juan Cruz and academic Jury President Carmen Iglesias; They also asitieron The Deputy Minister of Culture Carmen Gonzalez Madrid, General Director Isabel Rosell, el Alcalde de Majadahonda Narciso de Foxa y la Presidenta y viuda del escritor España Suarez.

Santos Sanz Villanueva stressed excellence and obviousness of this ruling because "quality awards and honors, may like or not the reader, but it is questionable whether Luis Mateo is in the top level of literary quality.
