EXPOSICIÓN FOTOGRÁFICA DE JUAN MUGURUZA: PIELES II

El fotógrafo vasco Juan Muguruz regresa a Madrid con la muestra Pieles II. From the 9 de Abril y hasta el 7 de Mayo se podrá visitar en el espacio de Mercedes Urquijo ( C/ Bárbara de Braganza nº8 Madrid)

Muguruza regresa con casi 50 fotografias en las que nos muestra su visión tan personal de la natualeza acercandonos a contemplar las cortezas de los árboles y descubriendo en ellas su gran belleza.

La muestra ofrece fotografias unicas impresas en lienzo; impresas en papel con tres ejemplares de cada una de ellas y piezas unicas realizadas en cajas de luz donde la fotografia queda impresa en seda .

Horario de visitas de lunes a viernes horario comercial y sabados de 12 a 2.

WALL JUMPING BEGINS ITS ROAMING

International Fund Foundation of Arts and The Ibero-American General Secretariat (SEGIB) initiate Travelling Exhibition Muros Jumping Iberoamericana 2013-2015 in October 2013 in Mexico and will be hosted by the following institutions:The Vasconcelos Library (Mexico City, Mexico) , The Metropolitan Museum of Lima - Management of Culture of the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima (Lime, Peru) , The Archaeological Museum of Contemporary Art (MAAC) - Ministry of Culture (Guayaquil, Ecuador) , The National Museum of Fine Arts - See Neuquén (Neuquén, Argentina), The Museum of Modern Art in the Dominican Republic (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) , The Ponce Art Museum (Ponce, Puerto Rico), The Contemporary Art Museum of the University of Chile (Santiago de Chile, Chile) , From Center Cultural Kavlin (Punta del Este, Uruguay) , The Memorial of Latin America (Sao Paul, Brazil) – The American House (Madrid, Spain) Latin America and The House of Cádiz (Cadiz, Spain).

Nineteen young photographers ten different nationalities participated in the sample. Those selected have been Evelyn Merino Reyna (Peru), Miguel Francisco Rueda (Peru), Julio Lugo Rivas (Puerto Rico), Norma Vila Rivero (Puerto Rico), Francisco (Pancho) Rodriguez (Dominican Republic), Yael Duval Liriano (Dominican Republic),Chi-Hua Salinas (Chile), Victor Ortiz Anaconas (Chile), Gabriela Portaluppi (Ecuador), Morejon Cesar Castillo (Ecuador), Sebastian Arce Manrique (Mexico), Fernando Manuel Pérez Escarcega (Mexico), Paula Jiménez (Argentina), Lola García Garrido (Argentina), Santiago Sebastian Salles (Uruguay), Vítor Pontes de Souza (Brazil), Raphael Alves (Brazil), Nicolás García Combarro (Spain) and Alberto Herrero Barceló (Spain).

But the project Jumping Walls does not end with the last of the sample itinerancies. One of the nineteen sample projects will be selected by an expert jury Development Projects to be implemented, thus closing the circle of the founding objectives of the project, demostrar que el arte es un instrumento de gran eficacia para la transformación social.

Successful Call Iberoamericana Photographic Project Jumping Walls not only is supported by the 678 photo projects received through the ten national calls conducted (Peru, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Chile, Ecuador, Mexico, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil and Spain). In early May this year he won second prize in the category 2 (Incubator projects) of III American Award for Education and Museums, organized by Ibermuseos-Ibermuseus Program and provided with 10.000 dólares.

WALL JUMPING IS PRESENTED IN MADRID

SALTANDO MUROS es un concurso de fotografía para artistas hispanoamericanos que lidera La Fundación Fondo Internacional de las Artes con el apoyo de la Secretaria General Iberoamericana y la participación de Museos e Instituciones Iberoamericanas y españolas.
Photography is a tool that can help change the social reality. The Jury is composed Spanish:Branches Alma Lopez, Leticia Espinosa de los Monteros Rosillo, Carlos Delgado Butler,

Fosi Vegue and Leonor has Esquerra and Museums: National Museum of Fine Arts Argentina, Museum of Contemporary Art, University of Chile, Museum of Modern Art in the Dominican Republic, Centro Cultural Kavlin (Punta del Este) Municipality of Lima, America House in Spain, Memorial of Latin America in Sao Paulo, Art Museum of Ponce in Puerto Rico, INBA of Mexico, Museo arqueológico y contemporáneo de Ecuador y El Centro Cultural Libertador Simón Bolivar.

The competition is aimed at young people 18 up 35 years old. The Call in Spain is open to 31 March. http://saltandomuros.org/

Jumping Walls is based on 4 ideas:

”I.

Jumping Walls points to the possibility of rescuing their role for art as a tool of social transformation and, on the other hand, to a study of the potential impact of the photographic image at the time not only to denounce, but a critical analysis, serio y profundo de una realidad social concreta.

The bet Jumping Walls is to accelerate the transition of younger artists to the professional art circuit, leading to understand the term "pop" as a limit to overcome and never as a final stage. The way virtual social networks are transforming the way people relate to each new crossroads involves behavioral and ethical. The project Jumping Walls want to join this dynamic choice stance against values, models and ideas that claim social networks and, finalmente evaluar su capacidad de acción sobre el desarrollo del proyecto.

Since the early twentieth century there have been cyclical reviews about the primary functions of the museum, ultimately, have expanded and revised the traditional collection, presentation and increased funding. Anyway, the truth is that museums have become in recent decades a place of meetings and multiple interests, struggling to find a new typology for living participatory community. What new strategies can successfully challenge the gap that still exists between social communities and museums? Jumping Walls seeks to establish an effective relationship between a museum project and the community to which it is addressed through an open and inclusive project, en el que el espectador se concibe como una parte fundamental y sea convocado a comprender parte de su presente a través de las obras expuestas.

SKIN EXPOSURE IN VALENCIA Botanic Garden

Belpart llevo la SKINS exposure, del fotógrafo vasco Juan Muguruza al Jardin Botánico de la Universidad de Valencia.

The exhibition was opened last 28 de Junio y contó con la presencia del Vicerrector de Actividades Culturales de la Universidad de Valencia D.Antonio Ariño.

The exhibition consists of 44 large format digital photographs taken between 2010 and 2011, barks showing various tree species, en la que el artista nos hace descubrir una belleza que el ojo humano apenas repara en ella.

As the sculptor Rafael Trénor, "The presence of these photographs in the middle of the trees and the expanded vision of their bark, enriquecerá por unos días la panorámica de sus visitantes sin alterar la natural belleza del Jardín Botánico”.

The exhibition can be visited from 28 June to 16 September in time 10 a 21h de lunes a domingo.

SKINS MUGURUZA JUAN Photographic Exhibition

Belpart organize PIELES, primera exposición artística del fotógrafo vasco Juan Muguruza en El Real Jardín Botánico de Madrid.

The exhibition remained in Madrid 28 March to 20 May then continue its tour to Valencia in the Botanical Garden of the University of Valencia 28 June to 16 de Septiembre y a Barcelona en el 2013.

Belpart gestiona la obra del artista Juan Muguruza.

U.S. PREMIERE OF "THE MAYOR AND MILLING" Manuel de Falla

Washington and New York were scenarios 2010 Release in USA. of this iconic work of Manuel de Falla, part of the season 2009/2010 de The Shakespeare Theater Company y de Brooklyn Academy of Music, respectivamente.

Concerts run by Belpart were interpreted by the Post Clasical Together and Brooklyn Philharminic under the direction of teacher Gil Ordonez and the corográfica, responsible Ramón Oller, fue interpretada por bailarines de Metros y del Ballet Hispánico de Nueva York.

SPANISH CULTURE WEEK IN THE UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO

With production and sponsorship SEACEX Cervantes Institute and the Embassy of Spain in the U.S.. Belpart structure a series of concerts of Spanish music, que se complementarán con una serie de conferencias en torno a las figuras de Manuel de Falla e Isaac Albéniz.

These activities will take place in 2010 at the University of Chicago, USA, en el marco de la Semana de la Cultura Española.
