WALL JUMPING BEGINS ITS ROAMING

International Fund Foundation of Arts and The Ibero-American General Secretariat (SEGIB) initiate Travelling Exhibition Muros Jumping Iberoamericana 2013-2015 in October 2013 in Mexico and will be hosted by the following institutions:The Vasconcelos Library (Mexico City, Mexico) , The Metropolitan Museum of Lima - Management of Culture of the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima (Lime, Peru) , The Archaeological Museum of Contemporary Art (MAAC) - Ministry of Culture (Guayaquil, Ecuador) , The National Museum of Fine Arts - See Neuquén (Neuquén, Argentina), The Museum of Modern Art in the Dominican Republic (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) , The Ponce Art Museum (Ponce, Puerto Rico), The Contemporary Art Museum of the University of Chile (Santiago de Chile, Chile) , From Center Cultural Kavlin (Punta del Este, Uruguay) , The Memorial of Latin America (Sao Paul, Brazil) – The American House (Madrid, Spain) Latin America and The House of Cádiz (Cadiz, Spain).

Nineteen young photographers ten different nationalities participated in the sample. Those selected have been Evelyn Merino Reyna (Peru), Miguel Francisco Rueda (Peru), Julio Lugo Rivas (Puerto Rico), Norma Vila Rivero (Puerto Rico), Francisco (Pancho) Rodriguez (Dominican Republic), Yael Duval Liriano (Dominican Republic),Chi-Hua Salinas (Chile), Victor Ortiz Anaconas (Chile), Gabriela Portaluppi (Ecuador), Morejon Cesar Castillo (Ecuador), Sebastian Arce Manrique (Mexico), Fernando Manuel Pérez Escarcega (Mexico), Paula Jiménez (Argentina), Lola García Garrido (Argentina), Santiago Sebastian Salles (Uruguay), Vítor Pontes de Souza (Brazil), Raphael Alves (Brazil), Nicolás García Combarro (Spain) and Alberto Herrero Barceló (Spain).

But the project Jumping Walls does not end with the last of the sample itinerancies. One of the nineteen sample projects will be selected by an expert jury Development Projects to be implemented, thus closing the circle of the founding objectives of the project, show that art is an effective tool for social transformation.

Successful Call Iberoamericana Photographic Project Jumping Walls not only is supported by the 678 photo projects received through the ten national calls conducted (Peru, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Chile, Ecuador, Mexico, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil and Spain). In early May this year he won second prize in the category 2 (Incubator projects) of III American Award for Education and Museums, organized by Ibermuseos-Ibermuseus Program and provided with 10.000 dollars.
